In this episode, we dive into 6 reasons why a solopreneur does not need to build a team to create or scale a business.

The beauty of being a Solopreneur lies in the flexibility we have with our time and location freedom but we can also leverage tools, automation and freelancers to perform tasks within our business.

It all comes down to a choice. We are now able to scale a business through digital means, as long as that that is what we desire to do.

In 2021, a Solopreneur no longer needs to scale by adding a team but can create multiple streams of income and still be the lone wolf in their business. It will also give you the freedom of only relying on yourself and not have to worry about other people within your business.

Social Pay has recently suspended its services to ensure they are fully compliant with the regulators and we were able to break down what the process is for those who are looking to create their own payment facilitation company or a marketplace in T&T.

We even dove into how business owners and consumers can check to see if the marketplaces & payment service providers that they are using to build their businesses, currently have their required licenses from the Central Bank of Trinidad & Tobago, Mastercard and Visa to operate.

The last thing you want is to for you to invest time and money into building your brand on a platform, only to be told that they are now being shut down due to not having the proper licenses to operate.

Sunday Motivation: The Time For Creativity Is Now

Growing up, whenever I heard people say that "You could be anything you want", I never believed it because I never got to see people around me becoming what they wanted.

I saw people who did what they had to do to survive but never become what they wanted to be.

Fast forward to the time we live in now and with all of the tools and resources available to us, my belief now is that we are only limited by our creativity.

Everyone's situations are different but it is encouraging when you see people being able to support themselves and families by just learning how to use their smartphone.

The time for creativity is now and I hope that whatever life you are creating, you lean into thinking outside of the box to innovate within your respective niche.

The Entrepreneur & The DigiPreneur whilst both enterprising...will take 2 routes different routes to a goal.

The difference is that many of us can't even get started becoming entrepreneurs because of all the hurdles.

The DigiPreneur can be anybody with an idea, a computer and an internet connection!

Sunday Motivation: You Do Not Need Validation

If there is 1 message I want to repeat to everybody, it is this one.

You do not need people to understand your journey, understand where you are coming from, give you permission, to cheer you on...you don't need this from anybody.

People will always doubt or critique, what they cannot wrap their minds around. Whether this is family, friends, people we are in relationships with...we do not need their permission or validation to pursue our dreams.

This is how people never get their ideas off the ground!
